What are your illness policies?
If a child is sick with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illness, they must stay home until symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This helps keep all children safe and healthy.
What kinds of meals do you serve?
I serve balanced, homemade meals with a variety of proteins, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Meals follow Canada’s Food Guide to ensure proper nutrition.
What ages do you accept?
I provide care for children 12 months to 3 years old in a safe, nurturing home environment.
What are your operating hours?
I am open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5 PM.
How do I make payments?
All fees are paid directly to Hopscotch Home Daycare Agency on a bi-weekly basis. You will receive an invoice from them with payment instructions.
Do you have pets?
Yes, I have a 16-month-old chocolate lab puppy named Reggie. However, Reggie is not around the children during daycare hours and remains in a separate area of the home.
How do you handle medical emergencies?
I am trained in First Aid and CPR, and I have emergency protocols in place. Parents will be contacted immediately in case of any medical concerns.
Are you licensed?
Yes! I am a licensed home daycare provider under Hopscotch Home Daycare Agency and regulated by the Ministry of Education. My daycare is inspected monthly to ensure it meets all ministry standards.
How much does child care cost?
The daily fee is $22 per child under the CWELCC (Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care) program.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes! I provide nutritious meals and snacks daily, following Ministry of Education guidelines. I accommodate dietary restrictions where possible.
Do you charge for holidays or sick days?
Yes, fees are required regardless of absences due to illness, vacations, or statutory holidays, as your child’s space is reserved exclusively for them.
Are children required to be vaccinated?
Yes, per Ministry of Education and public health guidelines, children must be up to date on vaccinations.
