Our Day

I follow a structured daily routine to provide a sense of consistency and security for the children in my care. However, I also recognize that flexibility is key when working with young children. My routine serves as a general guideline and may be adjusted based on the ages, needs, and interests of the children in attendance each day.

While I strive to follow the schedule as closely as possible, factors such as individual child needs, weather conditions, and group dynamics may lead to slight variations. My priority is to ensure a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for every child.

Drop Off Times

As of Jan 2024 the Ministry has implemented a new safe arrival program for all licensed childcare. I kindly ask that parents drop off their child by 8:30 am. At this time later drop off times can’t be accommodated.

7:00 – 8:30 AM | Arrival & Free Play
8:30 – 9:00 AM | Morning Nap / Quiet Play
9:00 – 9:30 AM | Snack & Diaper Changes
9:30 – 10:15 AM | Structured Activities (Art, Sensory, Fine Motor)
10:15 – 10:45 AM | Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting)
10:45 – 11:00 AM | Diaper Changes & Transition
11:00 – 11:30 AM | Lunch
11:30 – 12:00 PM | Calm Time (Storytime, Quiet Play)
12:00 – 1:00 PM | Free Play
1:00 – 3:00 PM | Afternoon Nap
3:00 – 3:30 PM | Snack & Diaper Changes
3:30 – 4:00 PM | Indoor/Outdoor Play
4:00 – 4:30 PM | Sensory & Creative Play
4:30 – 5:00 PM | Pick-Up & Free Play

Pick Up Times

Pick up is from 3:30 pm - 5 pm. If you need to pick up your child earlier in the day I ask that you please let me know in advance.
